Tuakiritanga/ Identity Exhibition 2021
An exhibition of portraits was created by Robyn Silvester (School Librarian) and Anahera-Pono Whakatope (Resource Teacher of Maori) along with teacher aids and whanau support.
Inspired by an article in 2018 Ako Magazine, the purpose of the exhibition was for the children to connect with their heritage.
This exhibition also featured in the Education Gazette Vol 101 No. 1

The following video was created to showcase the exhibition and concludes with performances from our senior school kapahaka.

Community Service

Posted  Aug 2020

We are an enviro school and this means we take an active role within the local community promoting environmental issues as part of our curriculum.

We don't just talk about how to make our local environment a safe and healthy place we also practise it.

At least once a term children are supported by staff to go out into our local community and clean up the streets.

The pupils also get involved in other environmental activities such as tree planting and sustainable gardening.
